Baby Corn, String Beans and Fish Tofu Dish

I cooked this dish so long ago but I kept delaying posting it. With the Thai New Year celebrations and my mom and cousin's arrival, I had a lot going on the past few weeks. Now that the long holiday is over, things are back to normal. First, let me share with you this quick and easy dish I cooked. Chop suey was what I had in mind so after stir-frying it, I added a thickened sauce to create something similar.

Mom cooked this delicious Filipino noodle dish called pancit canton, also known as lo mein or chow mein.

Bibingka Mix (Rice Cake Mix)

Today, while my mom,  sister and cousins were playing scrabble, I was thinking of what to serve  for merienda (afternoon snack). I remembered the bibingka mix.

I asked about her daughter's style and things she was fond of. The mother said she liked all things girly.  That night,  I browsed the  gallery to get an idea for girly stuff and this was what I came up with.

Winnie The Pooh Cake

Jullian, the son of a church mate turned 2. He fancies Winnie the Pooh so his mom asked me to make a Winnie the Pooh cake.  When I showed up at the kindergarten class on Saturday,  every one  went gaga over it. Kids couldn't take their eyes off of it.
